We're in the digital age. Everything we do can be done quicker and better by a machine. Our computers are fast, and our digital
cameras are even faster. We even have the ability to shoot video in our phones. But, high-tech is relative, isn't it? For
instance, back in the 70's, there were no computers or cell phones. What they really prided themselves on was the record.
Man, this thing was cool: it could play music without a band having to be there. The record was strong for a while through
the 80's until the introduction of the cassette tape and the compact disc (CD). Then the record became harder and harder to
find. Could the same thing happen to the technology we use today? The answer is and inevitable "YES". Many people
will mope around and say, "Our technology is so high-tech that it will never be replaced." But, the record was high-tech
when it came out, and it was replaced by more efficient listening devices. So, what we have will eventually become obsolete.
This is nothing new: things are deemed obsolete everyday. So maybe it's cruel to say that our so called "high-tech"
will be replaced, but it's probably true. It's just the circle of life for machines.
